GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL — The 28th Annual Clay County 4-H Holiday Bake-off was held Dec. 12 at the Agricultural Extension Office in Green Cove Springs. Youth representing 4-H community clubs from all over Clay County entered baked goods that were judged on taste, appearance and product standards. Judges sampled and evaluated the entries entered in Junior, Intermediate or Senior Divisions. Due to their age, youth taking part in the Cloverbud Division were given an opportunity to participate in this activity but did not compete. They did, however, receive a Participation Award. Each 4-H’er in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Divisions received a Red, Blue or White award.
